Our Story
We’re Dave and Annalise, and
we’re Wild About Sailing.
We met sailing on Great Slave Lake in Canada’s sub-arctic, and it’s been a lifetime of adventures ever since.A romantic honeymoon aboard a 150-foot tall ship (in a shipyard during a refit). Crewing a couple of offshore passages. Adventures sailing a 35-foot cruiser (with a toddler.)Dave is a Sail Canada Learn to Cruise instructor and instructor evaluator. He teaches to the Intermediate level, and hates having his photo taken.Annalise looks after our students,
co-ordinates onshore logistics, and keeps the whole thing on the rails.
Our Mantra
Small is beautiful... Fast is fun!
We teach our courses on 28' performance cruisers. Why?
We think new sailors find them easier to learn on.They're a great, safe platform for learning skills you'll need to start cruising, racing or having big sailing adventures. They're also super-fun to sail.
And when you're having fun, we're having fun, too.
